Can i take eyebright with plaquenil

It's used to treat and prevent malaria infection, and to reduce symptoms and progression of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and others. Malaria is spread by mosquitoes, which transmit the parasites that cause the infection, usually in tropical and subtropical parts of the world.

When my rheumy and I were discussing it, the plan was to get me on a bio that worked well and then start the Plaquenil, in the hopes of stopping the bio after Plaquenil is a slow-acting drug, meaning that it can take up to 6 months to experience the full benefits of this medication, but it is possible for symptoms to improve in as few as 1 or 2 months. Plaquenil and other antimalarials are the key to controlling lupus long-term, and some lupus patients may be on Plaquenil for the rest of their lives. According to a paper put out by the European Medicines Agency in 2010, eyebright can be taken internally in 400 to 470 milligram mg capsules, as a tea made with 2 to 3 grams g of the dried aerial parts of the eyebright plant, and as 1 to 2 milliliters ml of liquid extract. Eyebright can also be applied via eye drops.

For example, it may be combined with an antibiotic to treat chronic Q-fever, which humans usually catch from farm animals or raw milk. Plaquenil is used to treat other types of infections too.

Hello all, I am currently new to this site and ran across the discussion about stopping Plaquenil. I have been taking Plaquenil for about 8-9 months and thought that it was not helping me because I still have a fair amount of joint pain, fatigue, muscle pain and so many other issues. Plaquenil is very effective for the symptoms of achiness and fatigue. However, there might be a price to pay in terms of retinal toxicity especially after taking it for as long as you have. Given that the alopecia had developed while you were on the plaquenil, it's not clear that going back on it will help that symptom much. Hi Guys, I haven't been here for a while - just checked in and found this question on Plaquenil - for me it took approx nine weeks to begin to work - I'm only taking 200mg per day so far - it seemed to stop working a few weeks later - most days are pretty good I s'pose but I drop nearly every afternoon.
