I have both Raynaud's and chilblains in the winter. Raynaud's gets worse every year. I take Amlodepine for the Raynaud's. The chilblains sometimes itch badly and Tizanidine works, as needed, for that. My blood pressure goes too low if I increase amlodepine beyond 5 mg. I'm taking plaquenil to hopefully help with the Raynaud's and other issues. Bearing in mind I’ve been taking prednisolone and plaquenil faithfully since 2½ years ago, they didn’t help one bit in any way whenever flare-ups occur. The constant heat on my chilblains seems to make them heal fasterthe painful/itchy part doesn’t last as long. I’m sure it also prevents some chilblains but I can’t say that for sure as I have only had it for a month. I only got one, as the right side of my body seems to get the brunt of the tissue damage.
